Go big with the BDS Suspension engineered 8-inch lift kit with 4-Link conversion for your 2019-2024 RAM 2500 diesel powered truck. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 40" tires.
Up front the lift kit includes diesel-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, 4-Link control arms with conversion mounts, forged drop pitman arm and track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, brake line brackets and precision tuned NX2 or FOX 2.0 nitrogen charged shocks. At this height, the transfer case needs to be indexed to allow use of the factory front driveshaft so an indexing ring and new transmission crossmember are supplied.
In the rear, careful consideration was taken to design the system for load carrying capacity, handling, and ride quality. To do this, BDS engineered new coil bucket seats to mount them outboard the frame rail similar to a leaf spring style truck. The new upper and lower coil seats require only minor drilling for mounting hardware. The new position allows for a much shorter and more stable coil spring design. This virtually eliminates any chance of coil bowing and ensures the coils react predictably throughout the full range of travel.
In addition to the coil springs/mounts, a new track bar relocation system is included to properly set the rear roll-center height and center the axle under the vehicle. The rear track bar relocation includes a new heavy duty adjustable track bar. Finishing out the rear this kit utilizes extended sway bar links and a matching set of NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 Performance shocks.
4-Link Conversion
Convert the factory stamped steel radius arms over to the BDS 4-link to optimize suspension geometry for better handling characteristics while adding strength and stability. This bolt-on upgrade utilizes high-strength 1/4-inch steel brackets that allow mounting of HD upper and lower control arms to correct axle positioning while limiting caster change throughout wheel travel.
Pro-Ride Coil Springs
A pair of full-length, diesel-specific, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs are supplied to provide the correct lift height and smooth, predictable ride across various terrains. Manufactured from high tensile steel, our direct OE replacement coil springs are engineered with properly sized wire diameter. This results in maximum reliability without premature coil bind.
Steering Correction
To optimize steering geometry once lifted, a forged drop pitman arm is used to minimize the steering angle and pair it with a heavy duty track bar drop bracket to keep them in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.
- Aftermarket driveshaft is required
- For use on diesel models only
- Fits rear coil sprung models only (will not fit air-ride models)
- This kit requires the use of an aftermarket front driveshaft (not provided) in addition to the (provided) indexing ring kit - BDS122624 (6-bolt). Both must be installed, however due to variations between truck configurations we recommend installing the kit prior to taking measurements for the aftermarket front driveshaft to ensure correct length. Vehicle can be driven without front driveshaft. Kit was tested with a Drive Line Plus flange and driveshaft, however other high angle driveshaft options can be used
